A water day suitable for all levels.
Revisiting our baseline behaviours around water and our dogs' confidence and ability to retrieve from the water, and progressing these skills.
Alongside this, we will ask them to participate with land activities close to the water distraction which will give us a greater understanding of their ability to manage their arousal in this environment, and work to build upon these skills.
This workshop is being taken by Lynsey Moss. Lynsey is currently trained by two Springer Spaniels! Firstly Chester 9 years who has been through Gundog Club grades 1-4 and Barnaby 11 months who is just beginning to work towards grade 1.
She has been training using positive reinforcement for approximately 12 years after studying a NOCN in Canine Training and Behaviour with Helen Phillips, also attaining CAP 1,2 & 3 with Learning About Dogs. She also keeps herself busy by studying in her second year for a degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. She absolutely loves working her dogs during the beating season.
